Support the future of eye care in Ayurveda – volunteer your expertise or donate to our Revalidation & Research in Ayurveda Ophthalmology program. Your contribution can help advance treatments and preserve vision through holistic methods.

The primary objective of this program is to promote the cultivation and marketing of medicinal plants, ensuring a steady and sustainable supply of high-quality raw materials for Ayurvedic medicine.

To achieve this, the Trust conducts continuous awareness workshops for farmers, educating them about the best practices in medicinal plant cultivation. These workshops are not just about imparting knowledge; they are about empowering farmers with the skills and confidence to undertake this specialized form of agriculture.

In addition to education, the Itoozhi Ayurveda Trust offers practical support to the farmers. This includes setting up collection units for the cultivated medicinal plants, ensuring that farmers have a reliable and fair market for their produce.

By providing this support, the Trust not only encourages more farmers to participate in medicinal plant cultivation but also helps in preserving traditional agricultural knowledge that is often passed down through generations.

Moreover, the Trust manages its own medicinal plant cultivations to supply its Ayurveda medicine manufacturing. This dual approach—supporting community cultivation while managing its own production—ensures that the Trust can maintain the highest standards in the quality of its Ayurvedic medicines.

Through the Oushadha Sasya Krishi Padasala initiative, Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda Trust is building a bridge between traditional farming communities and modern Ayurvedic practices. By educating and supporting local farmers, the Trust is fostering a sustainable, community-driven approach to healthcare that benefits both the cultivators and those who rely on Ayurvedic medicine for their well-being.
