
The Navaratri Cultural Festival, organized by the Mayyil Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda Foundation Charitable Trust, was inaugurated by novelists Shri Rameshan Blathur, Dr. Shyam Krishnan, and Shri Radhakrishnan Pattanur.
During the subsequent literary session, Shri C.P. Chandran served as the moderator, while Managing Trustee Dr. Itoozhi Unnikrishnan Namboothiri chaired the event. The discussion, focused on the topic “Writing and Reading in today’s time,” highlighted how writing and reading that transcends time are integral to the Malayalam literary scene.
The opinions were shared by the novelists. Dr. Shyam Krishnan, a recipient of the Central Literary Academy’s Young Award, was honored at the event.The cultural program that followed featured various dance performances, including Bharatanatyam, classical dance, folk dance, cinematic dance, and Gujarati dance, showcasing a rich cultural tapestry.
Tomorrow, on Day 2 of the event, the cultural events shall be inaugurated by renowned Malayalam writer K.V. Mohan Kumar, and will be followed by various art and cultural programs.
