Free Bone Mineral Density determination consultation at DSC Center, Kannur

Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda Foundation successfully conducted a Free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Camp at the Itoozhi Ayurveda Wellness Centre, Defense Security Corps (DSC), Kannur. The initiative, held on Friday, December 13, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, aimed at early detection of bone degeneration and joint weakness, allowing individuals to take timely preventive measures for better bone health.

A Well-Received Community Initiative

The camp saw an overwhelming response, with 100 pre-registered participants benefiting from the free BMD tests. The initiative was particularly beneficial for senior citizens, defense personnel, and individuals at risk of osteoporosis and joint issues. The tests were conducted using advanced diagnostic equipment, ensuring accuracy in detecting early signs of bone density loss.

Encouraging Preventive Healthcare

The primary objective of the camp was to spread awareness about bone health and encourage preventive care through Ayurveda. Participants received personalized consultations from Ayurvedic experts, who provided insights on diet, lifestyle modifications, and natural treatments to improve bone strength and overall well-being.

Future Prospects

Building on the success of this event, Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda Foundation Trust plans to conduct similar camps at various locations, ensuring accessible and preventive healthcare for the community. The enthusiastic participation and positive feedback reaffirm the trust people place in Ayurveda for holistic health management.

The Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to all participants, medical professionals, and volunteers who made this initiative a grand success.
