Dr. Gayathri K B, from Mukkam, Kozhikode, is a passionate Shalya Tantra specialist with a strong foundation in both Ayurvedic surgery and Sanskrit literature. She completed her MS in Shalya Tantra from SSCASR, Bengaluru (2023), BAMS from JSSAMC, Mysore (2013), and holds a BA in Sanskrit Sahithya from National Sanskrit University, Tirupati.
She currently serves as a Visiting Shalya Tantra Consultant at Itoozhi Ayurveda Nursing Home, Mayyil, and Tejah Ayurveda, Kozhikode, while also leading her own clinic, Shree Ayurcare. Dr. Gayathri has extensive experience as an Ayurvedic proctologist and has worked with reputed institutions like Rajah Ayurveda. She has presented and published research on topics like Ksharakarma, Anal Manometry, and Pain Management in national and international forums.
A committed academic and clinician, she has been a resource person in public and scientific sessions, with a special interest in women’s health and holistic Ayurveda practices. Beyond medicine, she is passionate about Indian literature and philosophy and has even penned lyrics for an album sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
