A Free Medical Camp in collaboration with Salil Sivadas Foundation

On May 16, 2025, the Itoozhi Ayurveda Foundation, in collaboration with the Salil Sivadas Foundation, conducted a Free Ayurveda Medical Camp at Salil Bhavan, Sivapuram. Designed as a community outreach initiative, the camp aimed to extend the healing benefits of traditional Ayurveda to the public, especially those with limited access to quality healthcare.

The free ayurveda medical camp, held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, was led by a distinguished panel of Ayurvedic physicians from the Itoozhi Illam Ayurveda tradition:

Dr. I. Unnikrishnan Namboothiri

Dr. PV Dhanya

Dr. I. Umesh Namboothiri

Throughout the morning, the team attended to a large number of patients, offering personalised consultations, diagnosis, and traditional Ayurvedic treatment guidance. A major highlight of the camp was the free distribution of Ayurvedic medicines, ensuring that patients could begin their healing journey without financial burden.

The collaborative effort reflected a shared commitment by both foundations to promote holistic wellness, especially through preventive care and early intervention. The warm reception from the Sivapuram community, the high turnout, and the genuine interactions between doctors and attendees reinforced the growing trust in Ayurveda as a reliable and effective healthcare system.

Beyond individual treatment, the camp also helped spread awareness about Ayurveda’s strengths in managing chronic conditions, building immunity, and improving quality of life through natural and time-tested methods.

This successful camp is part of a larger ongoing initiative by the Itoozhi Ayurveda Foundation to bring Ayurveda to the grassroots, through medical camps, public health education, and partnerships with like-minded organisations. Our collaboration with the Salil Sivadas Foundation is a step forward in building stronger, healthier communities rooted in traditional wisdom and compassion.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the camp. Stay tuned for more such initiatives as we continue our mission to transform lives through health, wellness, and care.
