The Itoozhi Illam is steeped in a rich tradition that has flourished through the centuries. More than just a legacy, it represents an ongoing journey of refinement and a deep commitment to the community. Our commitment to the community is guided by what we call the “Four Pillars of Giving”

A Philosophy based on Upliftment
Here, we embrace a simple yet profound philosophy: the well-being of any community is closely tied to the health of its people. This belief drives us to give back to society, sharing the wealth of knowledge and resources we’ve acquired through our Ayurvedic practices, with a focus on uplifting the social standards of our beloved Mayyil in North Malabar.
Bhoomi Daanam
Our family holds a longstanding tradition of donating land to those without a place to call their own. This has been a meaningful way for us to contribute to the well-being of many families in Mayyil.
Oushadha Daanam
Providing Ayurvedic treatment and medicines to those in need has always been close to our hearts through generations. Our Charity Outpatient Program, held every Tuesday.
Anna Daanam
Our regular free meal programs, organized in collaboration with recognized charitable organizations, ensure that those in need receive nutritious food, including our annual Oushadha Kanji (Medicinal Gruel) program for school children.
Vidya Daanam
We understand that education is the key to transforming lives, and we've been actively involved in supporting it. From donating land for new schools to maintaining existing ones, we've played a role in building a brighter future for Mayyil.
We are not just healers but also nurturers of our community, committed to making a difference in the lives of those around us. These Four Pillars of Giving are at the heart of everything we do.
