The Ayurveda awards for excellence in the field of Ayurveda, instituted by the Government of Kerala, for the year 2009 has been announced at Thiruvanathapuram on 20 March, 2010. Our Chairman, Itoozhi Vaidyar Dr. I. Bhavadasan Namboothiri has been awarded the Vagbhata Award 2009 for the best Ayurveda doctor in the private sector, in the state of Kerala.
The entire family and fraternity of Itoozhi Ayurveda feel immense pride in our guiding light and our venerable Chief Physician being recognized with the Vagbhata Award – as the State’s Best Ayurvedic Doctor, by the most important and influential governing body of Kerala.
As the head of one of Malabar’s oldest centers of traditional healing, Dr.I.Bhavadasan Namboothiri has always strove to build a true connection between the people and the traditional methodologies he employed, selflessly serving and imparting knowledge, while appreciating the glorious heritage of this Natural Science of Healing.
